High purity magnesite is a kind of Dead Burned Magnesite with higher magnesium oxide content. The production is through processes of flotation concentration, calcination, finely milling, briquetting and sintering in ultra-high temperature shaft kilns fuelled with heavy oil. It is an optimal material for making shaped and unshaped refractories.
